Who – are Homenhancement?
Founded in 2016, Homenhancement is the largest serviced apartment provider in Geneva with a portfolio of 400 units in Switzerland’s business capital and a further 52 apartments in the country’s fourth biggest city, Lausanne. Why – did they hire res:harmonics?
Homenhancement understood the importance of a high-quality PMS in running a serviced apartment business and had been using a property management system since the company’s inception. However, as the business grew, Homenhancement realised they needed more from their system and started looking around for a new solution.
In particular, Homenhancement wanted a long-term solution that could evolve and match their future needs. A reliable system that already had most of the essential services in place, such as availability rates and channel managers, and was continuously being updated. A partner they could rely on to run their company and was willing to build bespoke features. After a large number of conversations and demos, they came across res:harmonics and it was the perfect match.
What – did res:harmonics do?
res:harmonics implemented its all-in-one system to satisfy the company’s core business needs, transforming the company’s sales and operations through features like the availability grid and data-fuelled dashboard. Homenhancement also took advantage of res:harmonics’ suite of integrations by embedding smart locks technology into their PMS and integrating with an online signing system (Sign Easy, allowing guests to check-in and enter their accommodation with their smartphone.
What’s more, res:harmonics worked closely with Homenhancement to make sure the system perfectly fitted the company’s bespoke needs. For example, the res:harmonics Customer Success team checked in with Homenhancement management at least once per week to discuss tweaks and solutions to ensure Homenehancement was getting the most out of the system, while the development team carried out a lot of custom work, such as building in a Swiss-style version of accounting software Quickbooks so the company could adhere to Switzerland’s unique and complicated financial regulations.
How – did res:harmonics make a difference?
res:harmonics’ customisable holistic software enabled Homenhancement to streamline the management of its core business. For example, the contactless check-in process saved hours of staff time with the operations team now able to focus on value-add tasks instead of manually taking reservation details or carrying out daily meet & greets. Meanwhile, having sales and operations managed from one system allows the Homenhancement team to simply check the dashboard at the start of a team meeting to see where they are with occupancy and revenue instead of looking at multiple different sources.
Furthermore, the added integrations have boosted guest experience, while the wide variety of extra data points gained since joining res:harmonics has enabled Homenhancement to continue its growth trajectory during the pandemic with the company recently adding more apartments to its inventory.
